Now Music Academy

Learning through a holistic approach to music

Handpan, calabash rhythm and gonilélé harp — through colours, shapes and emotions. Online anywhere in the world, or in person in Paris.

My teaching promise

The visual method, in lessons

I use Handpan Constellation Studio in lessons: colours, chord constellations and emotions make harmony clear and memorable — whatever your level, from curious child to seasoned musician.

During a lesson: a student’s hand playing a wooden Neotone, with the laptop right beside showing Handpan Constellation Studio in Logic mode — the circle of degrees in colour, one degree’s explanation bubble open on screen.
In a lesson, I keep Logic mode open in front of the student: one degree at a time, explained on screen while they play.

Understand

See the structure of music instead of enduring it: each chord becomes a shape and a colour.

Memorise

You remember through shape and emotion, not by rote. The bearings stay stable from one scale to the next.

Play & accompany

The handpan becomes a true accompaniment instrument — sing over the songs you love.

Yes, that is the whole point of the method. The visual approach — the colours of the notes and the shapes of the chords — replaces music theory to help you progress fast.

How much does a handpan lesson cost?

A private lesson costs €50/hour or €70 for 1.5 hours, online or in person in Paris. Group workshops are available on request.

Do online handpan lessons actually work?

Yes, lessons are given online anywhere in the world, using the same visual method as in person. All you need is your instrument and a connection.
